I first went to The Common Man back in 1986 and have gone a handful of times since then. Tonight I was up in the area with my family and we thought, let's stop in for old times sake. It's still got it, the food was great. They don't take reservations, which is unfortunate - especially when they tell us on the phone there will be no problem getting a table in half an hour, and then put us on a 45 minute wait list when we get there. It's unfortunate they can't be honest, or better yet, take reservations. But the food was good anyway.
