I came here for the 1st time this past Saturday to celebrate a friend's bday. We were a big group, we spent a lot of money at the bar, and had a great time dancing downstairs. However, this place is narrow, and it does get very packed, so it gets very hot. There is a 20% tip already added to your check before it asks you if you'd like to add an additional tip. I think this may be why my bartender didn't have a great attitude and delivered such disrespectful service. I won't let her keep me from coming back, I just won't order from her agai...

MAKE SURE YOUR BANK STATEMENT THE NEXT DAY MATCHES WHAT YOU SPENT!! They take advantage of people getting drunk and not double checking this! I was over charged and I called to fix it they had someone send me a text, and then they just stopped responding? 1 friend bought a drink and a shot charged $12 2nd friend orders the same thing charged $30. When she asked to clarify with the bartender she was super rude and had no clear explanation. SAVE YOUR MONEY LITERAL...

Recently went to The Commoner with some friends. The space is dark, with pounding music. It was a somewhat narrow area, and packed. The music was great - played a lot of top 40 stuff and music great for dancing! Would be great if the space was more open for dancing, but I really enjoyed my night there! Would definitely return.
