My wife and I ate at The Cookshack today in Houston for the first time.We were assisted by Leslie who was very helpful and courteous. In fact the entire staff was excellent.As a matter of chance we happen to run into the President and CEO of The Cookshack.His name is Mark.Mark took the time out of his busy schedule today and set with us for several minutes and gave us some history of The Cookshack.My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience today at The Cookshack.The restaurant was very clean and inviting and the food was truly amazing!The menu is very simple but allows for several options as well including ribs and salad.The Cookshack has struck gold with their formula. My wife and I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GIVE IT A TRY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.We just want to say a special thank you to Mark and the entire staff at The Cookshack.We truly enjoyed our lunch and conversation.

Guess, clean ambiance. Ordered a jumbo 3-tenders combo. Tenders were very good and filling for typical hungry stomach. The dip was just okay though. I'll definitely go back to try some of the other stuff on the menu.

Great food and service. Fresh, spicy, and crunchy— beats most of the other new chicken places popping up around town. Their Texas hot is nose-drip spicy and I can take heat, so be forewarned.
