It is a nice local place to get food. The cost of the food is very fair and the service was pretty solid overall. I would recommend if you are looking for a quick place to get lunch or breakfast for sure.

OMG! My love and I were hungry and we had a long drive ahead of us, so I searched Yelp and found The Daily Special Cafe. Hey, local is usually better than the chains, so we gave them a shot. We both had Chicken Fried Steak. Tori (probably the nicest person in Alvarado) was very attentive to our every need. Long story short, the food was great, the service was even better, and the all around atmosphere was cool. We're definitely coming back. Hopefully soon! Thanks Tori, and The Daily Special Cafe.
