Favorite Old Town spot for Brunch, late night food, quick lunch- anything you're looking for really. Wide variety of food, breakfast all day, alcohol license and even a brand new outdoor seating area (with fans and heat)!

Since moving to the National Harbor, I find myself in Old Town Alexandria A LOT!!! That said, I am discovering great restaurant finds away from the King Street strip. The Executive Diner is one of those finds and has become my "go to" breakfast option in the area. This particular Diner is almost tooo nice to be called a Diner. It looks NOTHING like the famous "Waffle House".. Lol. It's HUGE, it has an awesome outdoor seating area and the food is fantastic. I've been to many diners in my day and I can't think of one that has this trifecta working aside from The Executive Diner. I've had everything from the Salmon Benedict, steak and eggs, Belgium waffle, seafood omelet and EVERYTHING has been perfect!! The portion size is plentiful so definitely bring your appetite! The service is fast and friendly making this 5 star review very well deserved!!
