The Great American Bagel Bakery in Arlington

When we arrived at Reagan National, we looked over the potential lunch places and opted to rent a car and head out before dining. On the way back, we were stuck in our terminal for a while before the flight, and skipping an early lunch was a less-attractive option at that point. I scouted the available restaurants in our sub-terminal and found this place. I will confess to not being a huge bagel fan generally - they are too heavy / doughy for me. However, this place offered a take on a BLT, so I went for it. Reagan National doesn't seem to offer any of the standard American fast food default options (for good or ill).  In terms of ordering, this was the sort of polished metal / antiseptic feel you'd expect at an airport. However, they do offer bags of potato chips and the sandwich itself was pretty good. It wasn't over-large, which was fine. A small bagel is equivalent to a regular-sized bun. I was satisfied with the BLT.   Would I seek this out near my home? Probably not. Would I eat here again if I passed through Reagan National? Probably.

Wanting a snack before my flight and being a bagel fan I grabbed one from this place quickly. Food/Bagel - Great! I really enjoyed my blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which I highly recommend as a choice as well. Service - Okay, but because this place was super busy there was a 10 minute wait time before I could order my bagel. Overall, this place is good.

We got "Supreme Sunrise" bagel sandwiches at The Great American Bagel Bakery and Tequila Sunrises at the Grille District. Both excellent! I recommend this combo to start your vacation
