This location isn't as good as the Davie, FL location (as of November 2021). The staff isn't as nice and it isn't as welcoming. I've been to several Halal Guys locations and this is probably the location I enjoy least. Unfortunately, it is the only location in Orlando as of 2021.

To quote the fabulous Tina Turner, "we don't need another Gyro!" I disagree and the Halal Guys have pulled it off with their new Plant Based version. This counter service restaurant typically serves up chicken and meat gyros, but for a limited time (and hopefully permanent), they have a plant-based option. Even the tzatziki is plant based. I ordered one gyro and much to my surprise, they shaved the "meat" from the rotating spit, similar to a real gyro. Awesome! They built me a massive gyro which I will say was messy to eat, but they had unlimited napkins so I was able to clean up accordingly. This sandwich ate like a real gyro with lettuce and tomato (I added onion too). The meat could have had a bit more seasoning, but the consistency was pretty close to real gyro meat...
