Having visited ice cream shops around the world, I was pleasantly surprised visiting The Ice Cream Shop in Girdwood, AK. The warmth of the customer service was a welcome respite from the frigid Alaskan winter and the smooth, delicious local flavors like the Fireweed ice cream were a slice of heaven on Earth. If you are visiting the area you owe it to yourself to visit this place.
