If you're looking for comfy and quaint this is your coffee shop. Best breakfast, coffee and staff hands down. Being local i should have been going here sooner.

This place isn’t just a café to me, it’s a home. I used to stop by here in high school and the owner would check to make sure I wasn’t ditching school. (I wasn’t! I had a class at the university!)But honestly, they really care about their customers. Cozy atmosphere and great food. Highly recommend the walnut apple salad and the strawberry banana smoothie.

My family stopped by The Kind Cafe on our way to upstate NY for some lunch - three paninis and a wrap. But before I go further I should point out that the side of spicy balsamic slaw added a unique kick of flavor. All of the paninis were made with bakery-quality bread that absorbed the ingredients without getting overly moist. The Mushroomlyn was a vegetarian (not vegan) delight, especially because of the carmelized onions and garlic Mayo. My daughters thought that the Beach Bum and the Pesto Chicken were "plump boys" with bread that wasn't made flat and generous fillings. A real meal...
