This place used to be bittersweet...literally not figuratively, that was it's name. A large selection of ciders ranging from dry as the Mojave desert to sweet as your grandmothers cookies awaits you in a post industrial decor with ample outside seating. There are some beers on tap and local kombucha for those who prefer not to indulge in the alcoholic side of fermentation. If you get hungry a slice of Humboldt pie is also part of the establishment , serving delicious hand pies, chicken/veggie pot pies and full size sweet and savory pies. The pies are truly delicious and made with quality local ingredients and the empanadas are on par with some of the best I have had in South America. A welcome addition to the downtown food and drink offerings, the local cider bar is worth checking out because as Henry David Thoreau said "the apple is the noblest of fruits." ,
