Pioneer Square is the original neighborhood from which all of Seattle and Washington state itself grew from. It has, over the decades, managed to maintain a lot of its charm as far as cobblestone streets and very old buildings. It has also earned a reputation for not being a great place to live. However, people do. And that was one of the things that struck me about my recent visit to THE LONDON PLANE. I have had a curiosity about this place for years but simply never found myself in Downtown Seattle during the day. Thankfully, a scheduling mix-up at work allowed me to do so and let me say that this place is amazing. There is a sense of community as you enter this sprawling place with its 25-foot ceilings. The London Place wears a lot of hats. It is a bakery, a flower store, it is very active in volunteering its services and it is also a restaurant. A restaurant that doesn't allow itself...
