The Lounge in Reading

Your bio says "true neighborhood bar, with a friendly atomosphere."  I've been here twice now including today and I haven't felt the friendly atmosphere AT ALL.  Bartender this morning gave off a nasty and definitely NOT positive nor "friendly" atmosphere.  Very short answers, and we weren't even greeted coming through the door.  Instead of asking us what she could help us with she just sat and stared at us until we ordered.  But is currently EXTREMELY talkative to someone who looks like a coworker or personal friend. As I said this is only my second time here and this is the same experience I received the first time and will not be returning.  Customer Service should be greatly improved if you want to achieve a "friendly atmosphere".

Horrible horrible service!! First of all I stood at the bar for 10 mins and one person was in front of me with no acknowledgement from the only bartender there: thick light skin bartender After waiting for about 15 minutes I was asked what do I want in rush manner. Horrible service, only worried about men and they wait 60 mins to serve the women. All around horrible. Thick women that are only worried about Cincinnati clout and not service. Honestly would not recommend. This always happens when you try to support black businesses. Presentation is not key here and our fries were cold and they said it only take 3 mins to cook!!! Super disappointed in this black establishment.
