Service was perfect and the ambience was vibrant and classy. The food itself unfortunately just didn't live up to the cost and the steak was undercooked, which you just wouldn't expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

My wife and I occasionally visit Aspen from the Vail Valley for memorable meals. This was a late celebration of our anniversary. I found The Monarch to be a wonderfully intimate, high end steakhouse, with outstanding service. the staff were all friendly and attentive.
