Just Jumping in to update my review from my last visit....you know, had to eat another 5 in a sitting for "quality control"... And while my eyes were way bigger than my stomach on this one, I have to say Marinis continues to grow on me. Although arguably similar, I could swear, like fine wine, these little fried puffy babies get better each visit? Maybe I chose a better selection this time (the demichelli in particular)- but I'm thankful these little fried puffs, "born in Europe(Spain), Grew up in Argentina and baptized and were given a name [right here in] Texas"

Amazing. The owner was actually making the empanadas. He was very nice to talk too. They come out fresh and hot. You can taste the love in them. They are huge for the price, I couldn’t even eat them all. I just ate half of each one and took the rest home and had to eat the next day. They told me to just put them in the air fryer and it worked. It baked them well

Marini’s Empanada House on Westheimer is where we usually frequent for Argentinian Empanadas. They have a wide menu of them with meats, veggies, and sweets. Today we went there the Katy Marini’s for the food es time. We bought ten beef empanadas and two sweet ones. Mine was apples with cream cheese and my wife at a veggie with cream cheese. I ate two beef and my apple s Rey one for lunch, then brought three beef empanadas to work. I heated them in the microwave and they were perfect tonight at work. We mostly take out since Covid-19 is so catchy. Westheimer location has inside and outside tables. Katy has inside and all working are wearing masks properly. They have take out only for the time being. I will add pictures when I can. We go there often and I highly recommend trying them both.
