Absolutely delicious food and the service is always the best, can't imagine why anyone would leave a bad review. So far I've tried the French dip sandwich with a cup of clam chowder and it was fantastic. Great bread, tender meat, hot au jus, etc.The building itself and surrounding neighborhood are also very pretty.

I want to start by saying we use to LOVE The Peasant's Courtyard and have been going there for breakfast for years. We could not wait until SIP orders allowed outdoor dining so we could have breakfast here. We went last weekend (a month after the county allowed reopening) and ended up extremely disappointed in the lack of "safety" protocol. Honestly, we should have left. Courtyard was spaced out similar to normal - but EVERYTHING was already on the tables. Including, napkins, silverware (both in 'grab' style buckets) and other basic breakfast needs. I thought it was odd as none of that is allowed right now, but I became appalled when I noticed other tables leaving and there was no disinfecting of tables/chairs or removal of table items as required and as I've seen in other establishments. This included the bucket full of silverware and napkins! New guests came in, pulling silverware from the same pile as previous guests, using same items, etc. This is pretty gross on a normal basis (if anyone coughed, sneezed it would coat the silverware), but especially now with COVID-19. To top it off - only the teenage waitstaff wore masks. Our waitress did not (well, she wore it around her chin, the entire hour we were there). We will not be back. The blatant disregard for cleanliness and safety by The Peasant's Courtyard and staff should not go unnoticed.
