Restaurant claims to offer curbside, but there is no standing outside their door and no one answers the phone or checks outside to complete the delivery.  Had to pay for public parking and come inside only to find that my food was cold and soggy. Terrible experience. Would not waste vacation time.

Husband and I love to kill time in Chinatown on a Friday afternoon to let traffic die. So when he asks me where I want to eat..I find the best looking thing on the Yelp menu and The Pig & The Lady has been on my mind! Boy...I'll tell you...it did NOT disappoint!! I started off with a modest papaya salad (Please order it!) and the LFC Wings to start. Yum!! Husband usually doesn't care about me ordering salads, but he actually picked off the plate and then more! Thennnnn....the bartender gave us the specials of the night. Scallops with all kinds of magic on it and a prime rib with ong choy dressed up in even MORE magic!! (I'm really hoping one of the staff sees this review to give me a private description of what was going on with the menu specials again) I was too mesmerized by "scallops" and "ribeye" to remember what he was saying. Either way..there was an entire flavor bomb happening with both. The scallops were that "melt in your mouth" description! The ribeye was perfectly cooked to medium rare (the only way to eat your meat friends) and the ong choy paired so perfectly! We ended the night with the Hanoi egg coffee and WOW!! It is definitely a dessert coffee!! And a cof...

The ambience was nice and reminded me a bit of some of the places in San Diego and on the East Coast state side. Since we are living in a COVID-19 world, all parties were spaced out which is nice. The menu is small but full of delicious looking options and with variety too. My friend got to opay belly and I got the soft shell crab vermicelli. Both were good. I can't say that I was let down because I didn't have expectations, but I did finish it feel just okay about it. My friend said she liked hers, but liked mine better since we tried a bit of each. Although the price is higher than I am used to, you do get a rather large portion. We both ended up having enough leftovers. We tried the macaroon sandwich (three medium sized macaroons) and the brown butter coconut pound cake (basically a whole cake!) we were pleased with those portions also. The pound cake was wonderful. The macaroons were just alright. Good but probably wouldn't get again. The alcoholic drinks we got were friggin amazing! I'm sure all of their drinks are good too. Last thing. The staff were super nice and insightful on which dishes they enjoyed. Overall good experience so 4 stars. I just wish we enjoy our meals a bit more. Next time!
