Really enjoy stopping here. Been here twice. Will come here many more. Food is really good. The service has been consistent. We had their fried veggie appetizer this time. Oh my goodness. A definite "have to" again. Last time I got the chicken sandwich, Fab!! This time I wanted a burger. Best burger ever. As always half went to the homeless guy on the corner. Their french fries weren't the greatest today but who cares. The burger was wonderful. We will be back again. I forgot the Atmosphere. Love the decor. I love any place that leaves the brick walls exposed. If you plan to go for lunch. I would suggest to go before the rush or after. They get extremely busy. There is upstairs seating. I am not find if stairs that have no degree. So I stay downstairs. Shoes I wear do not adhere to wooden stairs. The Place deserves more then 5 stars.

Great vibe at The Place. Came with some colleagues and the environment was chill and easy to have a conversation. Street parking is decent. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were phenomenal. Would definitely visit again!

I'd probably give 4.5 stars instead of 5 if I could. We ate lunch at the bar, and the bartender was kind of not friendly. I feel weird even rating for that, but I mean, when you sit at the bar, you expect the bartender to be a bit more sociable? Anyway. The food was fantastic. Shrimp and grits portion was generous and really delicious. The fried chicken sandwich got two thumbs, and the cole slaw salad was very tasty - oil and vinegar style, no mayo. The place was packed when we showed up for lunch around 1:30, but that might have been because it was so close to the holiday, or maybe they're always that busy because they're that good!Would eat here again if we were local.
