Great salads, awesome burgers, huge cuban sandwich, tasty fish tacos... and good drinks. It's a bit loud but a fav!

Recently moved in to area. Spotted this place cause it next to Mo'Nelissa. Great pizza!!! Nothing fancy. Outdoor seating very comfortable. Fresh seafood and BBQ. Had an order of wings, a fried shrimp plate and 1/2 dozen little necks. Clams were fresh with extra horseradish and cocktail sauce on the side. Lots o lemons. Shrimp were really good. As good as Jordan's or Peters. Having lived in Buffalo, ill just say the wings were good. Classic Buffalo presentation with celery carrot and blue cheese. Had them leftover the next day with some good Waffle Fries. Had my favorite beer, Fat Tire. Going back soon. Got to meet Mo, the owner. He also owns the pizza place. Very nice guy.

Reluctantly I went to the Point Ale House early in the week. The menu is stale, dated lacking in variety and it's hard to pick anything I'd actually want to try. I went thinking maybe, just maybe they'd still have clams fra diavolo but no they don't. The only dishes I've liked there lately are the clams or mussels fra diavolo. I tried the special tomato soup with grilled cheese points. The soup was killed with too much cream, the grilled cheese was thick bread not toasted enough and a bit of cheese. I'm not a fan of cream in soup (or nearly any dish other than my cognac chicken) so I ate half. The only item on the menu I would possibly eat is a burger. It was okay, didn't have the rub on it that was supposed to be there. The owner needs to go across the street to Hennegan's to see what a proper menu and enticing specials look like because from what I see he's clueless. Maybe he's trying to run the place into the ground and buy out the other co-owners but if not there is no other reason why their menu stinks.
