After seeing so many positive reviews for The Red Bean, my brother suggested that we sample their unique ice cream concept, which involved selecting a simple base and infusing it with all sorts of crazy ingredients. I selected the non-dairy, coconut starter with mix-ins of fresh frozen peach and cinnamon. In fact, I had initially requested pineapple as my fruit, though they were sold out. Instead, only a mere slice of the peach was added into the blender with 3 scoops of cream and a hint of cinnamon. This resulted in a near flavorless custard that felt like a waste of calories. My companions found their blends to be as unexciting and bland as mine. While The Red Bean's ice cream combinations made for a different and creative experience, they did not live up to the hype and were not worth the money.
