Goth night "Jaded" was confusing, fliers said Industrial and dark techno genres of music, but the DJs played darkwave and pop covers...Seemed confused about what they were trying to do, and the drinks were over priced and re-creations of already established and existing known cocktails with new names thrown on themVenue is nice but the dance areas are super small and awkward seating arrangements and sound issues with the setup downstairs causing the music to cut in and out, I suppose a sound check before the event was skipped

Last week I attended a concert at the Rendezvous, and felt privileged to attend. In the most intimate setting, I listened to three amazing singers and felt I was sitting in their living room. It was a throwback to the best of times, and at a nominal cost.John bartended, and was helpful and empathetic, as most barkeeps should be, but often aren’t. As an older dude I’m not always welcomed at clubs in Seattle. John and Madeleine were gracious and respectful. I will return this Friday for another concert. The Rendezvous is fantastic.
