I like this place a lot. Calm and quiet (in a good way!).

I have mixed feelings about this place. I live 2 blocks away, so I end up coming here out of convenience. However, every time I come here, it is extremely SLOW and expensive. It cost me $17 for avocado toast, a pastry, and small hot chocolate! They had 6 staff members working, but I heard one of them say to a customer "sorry we are short staffed today..." after several people complained about the amount of time it took to receive their food. The food and drinks are tasty, and it has a cute small-town/neighborhood vibe and I want to support local business, but it's always frustrating when I come here.

There was a line at the Arlington Heights Starbucks and inside was super hot & humid so I decided to pass. Was almost home and thought to myself 'Is there no where else in the Heights to enjoy a delicious wet cappuccino?!' So I pulled over and used this ap and found this place. Voila! Very nice woman (so sorry, I did not get her name!) waited on me and she made a wonderful wet cappuccino (triple shot today) that is PERFECTION. I've been lucky to enjoy good coffee in some wonderful places - France, Italy - and it turns out a fabulous cup was just around the corner from my house! Don't get me started on the coffee cake either (see pic) because it is delicious, moist and not too sweet. The Roasted Granola Cafe is my new favorite coffee place - and I can walk to it! Worth a drive too! Next time I'll try the granola!
