Made reservations...they "lost" them...oh well, too bad, they say. Never again. Customer service is dead here.

We visited the Skye Terrace at Tampa Bay Downs on a Sunday. We had a reservation for 10 at 11:45. Our table was all set when we arrived and our server was fantastic from the moment we arrived through all 9 races (6 hours!!). The Skye Terrace has several windows to place bets. The lines were short and it was easy to place bets. You have a great view of the race track from this area and its completely air conditioned. We stayed for all 9 races and really enjoyed the day. The Skye Terrace has a nice brunch menu and the drinks are priced well. I drank $5 bubbly all day! I had the crab cake benedict which was fantastic. They bring warm bread to the table as well that it worth the carbs. My friends and I are all sold on the Skye Terrace at Tampa Bay Downs and will be back again for another race day!

A lovely afternoon was spoiled by a waitress who ignored us the entire time. Had to chase her down to get drinks refills. Our order never came after waiting 45 minutes and I chased her on the floor again to find out what happened. Promises to look into it but nothing happened. Finally had to call the manager and our order came in 15 minutes and she comped it. But it was not a good experience. In fairness, we have eaten here before and never had such a poor waitress.
