Food was good but the server we got stuck with was the worst. She never came to check on us. Took forever to even let us know she will be with us. Didn’t even let me finish with what I was requesting and would walk away. The bartender (male) and the hostess (male) both were great.Server: Asian female.

We had a reservation at the boardwalk location in cypress two days prior and still had to wait nearly 20 minutes. I put on a polite face, but I was annoyed, as I feel this should have been factored into the reservation slots. When they did seat us they sat us near the back door where it was freezing. They kept opening the door for what seemed to be no valid reason. Nonetheless, the food and drinks were good and the staff was actually pretty decent.

The service was not it. Upon arrival, I made it very clear that we were celebrating the graduate. My sis graduated with her Masters in Social Work and yes we were very excited and we chose The Union Kitchen- Washington. Was it a mistake? Absolutely. It was a party of 6. One guest arrived about 10 minutes after we were seated. We were greeted. We received water and we ordered the penny refill mimosas because allegedly, one cannot say bottomless mimosas. Okay. Cool. Got the drinks. Instantly the graduate realized her glass was not only dirty but it was broken. Are yall rushing? Did yall miss this? Thankfully, she did not cut her lips/mouth/hand. That's strike one. After that we ordered our meals and an appetizer. We got the spinach dip to share. The server brings out the plates and leaves them stacked. He did not place a plate in front of each guest. To our shock and pure disgust, we see that the plates are filthy. Some of them had mold on them, I know it was mold. The server was extremely nonchalant and did not apologize. Now this is my second time having a discussion with the manager and that's one time too many. Again, why are we being served on these filthy plates and why should I have to express that this is a problem. One would think, oh they will take the appetizer off of the bill. No they didn't. The manager whom I spoke with on two occasions popped over and apologized and said "oh that should never happen that's why we train our servers to pass each plate out" Okay duh ma'am b...
