Disappointing experience after such a long wait. Maybe COVID related, but they sat us outside on a cold rainy night with no heat lamp. Warm menu items were few and far between, and overall a bit overpriced. Unfortunately we got up and left after just having a drink because it was too cold to enjoy ourselves.

We had booked a table a month in advance for a special occasion. Our table was ready when we arrived. The problem was that it was extremely narrow, and we were to share it with two other guests who showed no awareness that we had arrived. We were packed like sardines on a day when the 14-day increase in COVID-19 cases was +17% , and the state is only 50% vaccinated. In a loud room where guests and staff had to shout to be heard, the Walrus and the Carpenter was clearly not a safe place to be. We left after a couple of minutes.
