Food was good, great atmosphere. The Carlsburg tap was a little skunky and for 8 dollars a beer, it should be top quality, other than that, a pretty cool place

I feel so ripped off after visiting The Winchester. I met a friend for brunch. I ordered a double Bloody Mary and the bartender seemed super annoyed from the moment I walked in. I even tried to be extra friendly because she seemed to not be happy at all. The whole vibe just seemed negative. I also saw a small roach run across the bar. That's when we decided to go else where for brunch. I gave the bartender my card for my 1 drink and was shocked that my total was over $19. For 1 drink! I understand it's a double but I was also charged $3 for a garnish. I love bloody Mary's and drink them often and have never been charged for a garnish. Furthermore the garnish that I paid for was 3 olives. The friend I was with had 3 bloody Mary's and was only charged $5 for each. No charge for garnish. If the bartender would have asked if I wanted the Sunday special I would have absolutely had that. But I wasn't asked or told that I would be charged for 2 drinks and a garnish. $19 is insane. I will not be back.
