Theodore Rex is outrageously good. We visited Houston in early Dec for a wedding and dined here one night on the patio. It was the best meal we have had in a long while and certainly the best place we visited in Houston. We had: - tomato toast (the best thing I ate in 2021) - melon with spicy pepper (excellent) - crepe with mung bean (very good) - smoked braised greens (excellent) - fish entree / think grouper? (very good) - we had some dessert - a cake that had cheese or something, I forget - I actively disliked it and wish we had gotten something else instead since the desserts sounded good Service was attentive and warm. Definitely try to reserve a spot here when in Houston.
