Stumbled onto this place driving from Minneapolis on our way to Ames,IA. We try to avoid chains and fast food when we can. Walked in and two guys are at the bar talking shot choice for pheasant hunting and lamenting how Unknowledgeable the staff at the local hunting store are... inside area is pretty full, It was a nice night, so we chose to sit outside on the back patio - Craft Beer selection is solid and a pleasant surprise. I got the "Elevated Amber" and it was quite good. My son ordeeed the "Oktoberfest" and it was good also. Cheese curds are excellent. This is what we call "Pub Food" and it is excellent for what it is. Service isn't great - two meals came out and mine came out 10 minutes in. - it's a small town, Friday night during football season and they are busy. I'll give them a pass for that. Worth the stop!
