TODAY my daughter-in-law ordered the pork chop combination today for her father, who has stage 4 iiver cancer. He lives in the Warrendale area in Detroit, where the ORIGINAL three brothers restaurant was until closing. She asked explained that she has to drive about 30 minutes to get the lunch to him and asked that they put the chop in a separate box so it would stay crisp for him. They did. And they charged her $.45 extra to do that. She explained the health situation to them and they said, sorry, restaurant policy. What a crock. This is certainly not the kind of place I want to recommend to ANYONE. Below is what happened the last time I went to their place. On March 27, 2018, I came for lunch with my Hungarian friend, a former marine. Ordered the polish combo which comes with city chicken, perogi, sauerkraut and sausage. Ordered a small bowl of cabbage soup for $.79. My friend wanted to taste the sausage n city chicken so I gave him a taste of each. A taste, mind you, just a bit. So when I got my bill the soup was charged at $2.99. When I asked about that, they said I had shared my meal. They showed me the itty bitty little notice on the back of the menu that says additional charge $1.59 for sharing a meal. wow, if giving a guy who cooks a taste of something so that maybe I would find it the next time I have dinner at his house constitutes sharing a meal I guess I won't go back to that restaurant again ever.
