My mom is the most difficult to please diner of all time. We came here from Alexandria because someone gave me a gift card. So that was already a strike because she hates to go far. She L-O-V-E-D it. Every single dish. Not only no complaints, but actual accolades. This is the best review any place could possibly get, a 10 from a palate that never gives more than a 4.

I visited TNR cafe last night at around 9pm. There was no one else dining in, just my husband and I. The service was good but the food was bad. I ordered vegetable egg rolls and hot and sour soup and my husband ordered some sort of beef appetizer on small skewers. The egg rolls were so bad. They were fried in old oil, they were hard and not crispy like they had been sitting out for so long and just refried or something. took a few bites of the rolls and the inside looked gray and nasty . I didn’t even finish my food. My husband took a few bites of his beef and he did not like his food also. The hot and sour soup was the only dish that was ok. My stomach has been upset all day and i have been feeling like throwing up and I know it was the food. Not had food poisoning in so long but I definitely got it last night from TNR Cafe.
