I've been wanting a good panini and I had high hopes after reading the reviews. Stopped by today for lunch and I'm regretting it. What a waste of money. This is not a panini. Paninis are toasted and crispy and hot. My sandwich is lukewarm at best, the chicken is cold and the mozzarella isn't even melted. I shouldn't have to take my ready-to-eat sandwich from a restaurant (or food cart) and cook it more. Just severely disappointed. I get they try to be quick but the quality suffers and it shows. Won't make this mistake again.

I LOVE TOASTIES!!!! Hands down the best food cart on the MCV campus. I always tried to sneak out of work 5 minutes early to beat the lunch rush at noon (oops)! I always ordered the chicken pesto with a side of chips. I'm pretty sure I ate Toasties for a week straight with no regrets. Everyone there is always super friendly and quick to strike up conversation. I also love that they are reasonably priced!

There's one girl who consistently gets my sandwich wrong...gives me an incredibly burnt caprese sandwich and always assumes I want chicken on my sandwich when I asked for a vegetarian caprese... Used to like this truck but starting to be very turned off.
