I mean, whats not to absolutely LOVE?! The absolute BEST greens and coleslaw available anywhere in this area. I always order the popcorn shrimp. On my last visit I got the fried shrimp and the stuffed crab and the crab was terrible. The shrimp was a bit on the fishy side but it won't stop me from coming back. I walked in the To Go side of the restaurant, ordered my food, the lady was really nice and answered the questions I had, and I was walking out within 10 minutes with my food!

Where do I begin? Top O' the River is one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever dined at. The catfish is succulent, and the fried pickles! If you have never tried fried pickles, you are missing out. They serve white beans, cornbread, coleslaw and other amazing appetizers before the main course. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault because there is enough food on the table to feed a small army. Actually, they should invest in larger tables. The food is well worth the money. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Anniston, Alabama.
