The whole experience was a disappointment. We saw our server 3x. She took our order, 40 min later delivered 2 mediocre sushi rolls, then gave us our bill. It gave us amble time to stare at the black molding spots above our table and discuss how although their sushi was pretty, general grocery store sushi tastes much better. Will not return.

I've had the pleasure to try sushi all over this country and in several other countries as well. And I would have to say that Tora Sushi Lounge has the best sushi I've ever tasted. I was vacationing in Astoria and I ended up going there three days in a row. And I occasionally think to myself that I need to go back to Astoria, specifically for their sushi. It's that good. Service is excellent, they were dog friendly and allowed me and my pup to sit in the bar area.In all seriousness, their sushi was just fabulous and I highly recommend them.
