It was our first time trying this local place. We had a bad experience with the tempura, it was dipped in chemicals it tasted horrible. We mentioned it to the waiter and nothing was done. The same night both my daughter and husband got sick from it. My husband called the next left a message and an email about food poisoning. Nobody called him back. We won't go back. We weren't going make a scene with other customers there but was afraid that others were going to experience the same outcome. They were sick for a full 24 hours, they missed school and work because of it. It a unfortunate.

My kids and I went to Toshi for dinner tonight. It was super busy when we arrived and it took 30 minutes for them to get a table ready for us. Once we were seated they took good care of us. Our food was excellent and they made special accommodations for my kids to get some stuff that wasn't on the menu.What impressed me the most was how grateful the staff was for our patience in waiting for a table. More than once we were thanked for our patience by the wait staff. It was so refreshing to have such a grateful group of employees serving us.Thank You Toshi employees! I would give you six stars if I could.

Toshi 1.0 is my favorite sushi spot in the area. The Pacific Ocean Roll is delicious. The customer service is great and the food is consistently good.
