Order here all the time. Portions are great and so is the food. Going here once or twice a month is a must haha.

The Tosokchon strip mall plaza is crazy busy with a constant flow of cars looking for parking. We came across this 24/7 Korean restaurant through Yelp. There were numerous entrees I was not familiar with and wanted to try for the first time. Each item on the menu had a picture for reference, which was helpful. I settled on trying Yookgaejang, which was a spicy beef soup with egg, vegetables (bean sprouts, string beans) and clear noodle. It was served with rice and three banchan sides. One of the banchan was kimchi, which was cool, crispy, raw cabbage drenched with flavorful, spicy garlic sauce. It was cool in temperature and heated in taste. The yookgaejang had a slow roasted, tender beef chunks with crispy bean sprouts and soft glass noodles in a soup broth. The soup was not that spicy; I can handle a higher heat level, but it was homey and left me feeling warm and satisfied. The portion is huge and well worth the price. We also ordered the kimchi pancake and it's definitely best eaten right away. The outer edges are crispy and the center was more soft. The cabbage in the kimchi pancake has kept its shape and flavor. I enjoyed everything we ordered and can't wait to try another new entree! Also, they have a "hangover soup" in their menu ;) that I'm looking forward to trying.
