Amazing taste, but felt the portion sizes are smaller compared to a typical similar restaurant. Excellent service, menu options, variety and ambience.

am extremely upset with this dining experience. Myself and my 3 children arrived for lunch. The host was pleasant and sat us at a wonderful corner booth. The server took an extremely long time to get to the table. She was immediately rude asking “what are you having?” Everyone ordered politely using please and thank you none of which was acknowledged. She seemed to have a better demeanor with the surrounding tables. I was looking forward to the roast beef po’boy however she quickly let me know they were out of roast beef. Cajun/Creole food has become one of my favorite foods to eat.  My wife and I became huge fans of jambalaya and gumbo after making a weekend getaway trip to New Orleans.  The mix of diverse spices along with the abundance of seafood and andouille sausage just makes my mouth water. I genuinely believe that New Orleans has some of the best, if not, the best food in the whole country.   So when I found out that there was a restaurant based on the French Quarter in New Orleans, my wife and I immediately bookmarked and was dying to try Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge.
