Trattoria La Bocca in Ridgewood

Everything was fantastic.  Cute little place with a nice ambiance.  Came for my friends birthday and happy we did.  My friend and I had the salmon stuffed with crab meat and spinach and my other friend had the pasta Bolognese.  Everyone liked everything we had.  Had a cannoli for dessert and it was amazing.  Would definitely return!

Delightful intimate Italian gem in Ridgewood. Dined last night with friends and everything was perfect! The service was great. The food was delicious and the ambience was exactly what we were looking for. Not busy on a Tuesday evening. Super cute inside and intimate. Very small thought-probably about 10 tables or so? They allow reservations which is a good thing I can imagine for weekends. They provide warm, fresh bread for the table with olive oil and vinegar. We ordered burrata salad with sausage and broccoli rabe for appetizers. Both were great! For entrees we tried one of their specials, salmon stuffed with crabmeat with sautéed spinach. Delicious! We also tried the bolognese sauce over pasta and it was filling and absolutely delicious! For dessert we shared their infamous cannoli which totally lived up to its name and the hype!!! Perfectly crunchy exterior with the best, chilled cannoli filling!! We also shared the warm and crispy waffle with hazelnut ice cream and whipped cream. Again-AMAZING!! Thanks for a delightful dinner and experience! We will most certainly return!

Hello all, I ate dinner at Trattoria La Bocca this evening with my two colleagues. It was awesome! I had the Mozzarella de Buffalo caprese salad as an appetizer. My one colleague had the same and the other had the shrimp forno. We also split a calamari friti. That salad was one of the best salads that I have ever eaten! My one colleague also agreed. The other said and I quote "my favorite food wrapped around my second favorite food, bacon wrapped around shrimp!" Additionally, that calamari was perfect! Not too fried or heavy, light and delicious. We followed up with linguini seafood, the ribeye and crab stuffed branzino respectively. All awesome!! When Luisa, our wonderful server, asked us if we wanted anything else. I thought to myself I would love a Lemoncello. I remember that refreshing after dinner digestivo when I was stationed in Sicily for 3 years. So I ordered two. To my surprise, I had made a mistake and was not exact in my request.
