We stopped in on our way back from the beach and were very impressed with the food. I’m afraid the name might be a bit of a deterrent. I only found/considered this place because of the reviews, so I’m hoping my review helps convince someone else to stop by. We ordered a fish dinner (3 pieces of perfectly fried and seasoned whiting), delicious collards (even my husband said they were “not bad”, and he generally doesn’t eat them), mac n cheese (also great), and a side of popcorn shrimp. I’m usually the person who adds salt to everything but this food was perfectly seasoned. The only thing that might improve it was to have some fresh lemon wedges with the fish! The location and decor are a bit Spartan but the delicious food, welcoming service/atmosphere, and affordable prices more than made up for it in our opinion. We will definitely be stopping here for lunch on the way to the OBX in future!

We found this place on the way back from the OBX. (Not affiliated with that Trump) Great food, really nice people, great service, reasonably priced and the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had!!Stop in for lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed
