I discovered this place while intending to go to KFC for a pot pie. The lobby was closed and the drive-up line was out to the street, so I pulled into the parking lot behind it to turn around. There I discovered Tuscan Oven! I come here sometimes for lunch even though it is a drive from downtown Albany; during the pandemic so many places are closed and I tire of the options around the Capital Building. They have a good variety of pizza here, at lunchtime there are several premade slice pizza varieties, and they also make good subs. I haven't ever gotten a dessert here but they have interesting selections, and a wide variety of beverages as well. They also have more than Italian food. I have been considering trying the gyros or cheesesteaks. Haven't had them yet, but I can vouch for what I have had here.
