WEAK! We came to eat but they hint to us that they don't want to serve us. This host told us "you know we closing at 7pm right?" We was there at 6:15pm! Might as well close at 6:15pm then. We are ones that eat and go, no BS. Guess some places don't want our business:/

This place is disappointingly delicious. I went in on a Friday afternoon. Two hours before closing time. I went after 3 previous unsuccessful attempts due to their misleading and unadvertised updated hours. The weather was very cold and windy for Houston weather, 43 degrees. Thinking this place with raving reviews would have more people craving its delicious soup on a cold Friday afternoon, however, I was the only other person there along with an elderly couple dining. No music playing, no body talking. The soup was amazing. Bun Bo hue to be specific. The flavor is incredible, one of my favorite soups! They were out of egg rolls which was a bummer and the bahn mi sandwich I ordered was ok. That's pretty much it. This place has definitely lost its spark from all the reviews from a couple of years ago I see. The hours of operation is probably a big reason why. How is it that the soup is better than the bun Bo hue place down the street, but the other place is buzzing with people? They can't seem to stay open long enough for people to dine in. And after being disappointed 3 different times for trying to dine in without updated hours online, it makes sense. I hope they decide to stay open longer very soon and they can keep business flowing.

I was initially skeptical of Two Bowls Bun Bo Hue as it had more of an aura and gentrified feel that isn't expected of a Vietnamese eatery in the Bellaire area. Nevertheless, the recommendations are high and the reviews even better so I thought I would give it a try. The dining area is very clean, with contemporary decor. There are signs advertising Banh Mi, boba teas, and a Bun Bo Hue food challenge, along with a series of Polaroid pictures of those who successfully completed it. I arrived around lunch time and there were a few patrons inside finishing up. As this review is written during the age of social distancing, there are only a few tables and they are kept a few feet apart from each other. A jovia...
