Ambience is nice but otherwise not the best experience. The sashimi isn't bad but not the best in this area. Service is subpar, especially when youre reminded upon arrival to promptly leave after an hour and a half. Go for a different Japanese place.

Umi sake house is a perfect place for friends or a date night if you aren't looking to spend in the Shiros/Kashiba price range or want some fancier rolls. I've been numerous times for their amazing happy hour deal and never left disappointed. They have great deals on sushi sets, rolls, and sake from their 4-6 happy hour. They also had Otoro last time that completely melted in my mouth. A sister restaurant of Momiji as well so if you like the sushi there for sure give Umi a try!
