We had wonderful made from scratch Mexican food - definitely recommend

Had reservations for party of 3 Christmas Eve made through Open Table. When we checked in the hostess pushed a button on her computer and immediately said, "Oops". I asked if she had canceled my reservation and she assured me she hadn't. Later that night got an email from Open Table saying restaurant had cancelled my reservation; therefore, no points awarded. On top of that, after waiting a long time at the hostess station we were seated in a booth, given menus, etc. About 10 minutes later, the manager requested we move to another booth so that he could accommodate a large party that did not have reservations. He never offered anything to compensate for the inconvenience like a round of drinks, etc. Food was mediocre. Service was subpar. Overall...not a good experience. Poorly managed. With all the many great Mexican food restaurants in the area, we won't be returning to Uncle Julio's Allen.
