We ordered their lunch special, heads up to everyone it’s now $18. It was still worth the price, we ordered pad Thai and it’s legit “Pad Thai”. Also got their Thai green curry, which was also delicious! Lastly we ordered their crispy pancakes with condensed milk, the perfect dessert after our Thai lunch. It was light and perfect balance of sweetness.

I happen to be in Alameda the past weekend and I saw that Up 2U Thai Eatery has glowing reviews so I gave it a try. And WOW I really enjoyed everything here. I love the food and it is very authentic. I like the fact that I can cater the spice level to my liking. Crispy Chicken Basil is a MUST TRY - it is also a semi-unique menu in general. This dish is hard to make because you have to have the right level of crispiness and not so greasy, I would say the chef did a perfect job. Another one is Laab Mod Tod - It is a fried mince pork ball and you spice it up with Laab style. It is so yummy - right balance of flavor and texture. Other items to recommend Crab Fried Rice, Tom Yum Fried Rice. I would say I will definitely come back to try other dishes here soon. Not only food was great. The service was also very good as well. The host greeted very nicely. I really enjoy my whole experience here even though it is still a take out order. Thank you the Up 2U Thai Eatery team.
