awesome oysters! fresh, plump & flavorful. my wife had the overflowing flounder & shrimp basket which we also enjoyed; lightly battered, not greasy at all, hot & tasty. casual waterfront atmosphere

We asked a local shop owner where she would go for seafood . She recommended "Up the Creek Raw Bar." It was just what we were looking for. Set down on the water, we walked upstairs to the restaurant ( they have an elevator, too). We were pleased to see employees actually wearing masks. I ordered the daily special, a whole fried flounder and sweet potato fries, and a half dozen raw oysters. My wife got the shrimp & fish basket with fries. The oysters were big, fresh, and well priced. Flounder was delicious. My wife said her basket could "feed a family of four." She thought it was all delicious. I tried one of her regular fries, and it was exceptional. We were also pleased to see an excellent selection of draft beer, our beverage of choice when eating out. We will definitely come back here when we return to Apalachicola, and highly recommend it.
