Really lovely atmosphere, feels very rustic but intimate. I only had the fondue but it was lovely.

So glad we decided to try the Uptown Cafe! There were 6 adults and a toddler. Even though they were busy, we were seated quickly and our drink order came right away. I thought for sure that we'd have to wait a bit for food, but it came out within 15 minutes! Everyone loved their food--burgers, egg salad sandwiches (with bacon!), Mac and cheese, the Uptown salad (I recommend highly), poutine, and a kid's pizza. It was all delicious--not a complaint in the bunch. As busy as she was, our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We would go back any time.
