Great ambiance. Both my wife and I had to send our steaks back because they were too tough, however the filet mignon was excellent. Kinda pricey.

On January 2, 2020 my husband called Vernon's Speakeasy to arrange a reservation to celebrate our daughter's engagement. Knowing it was the weekend following Valentine's day we wanted to make sure we had a reservation for our group of 9. Others from WA and CA were flying in to celebrate with us. When my husband called to book the person he talked to told him he was early to ask for a reservation but since it was just after Valentine's Day that it was probably smart to just go ahead and do it. So a table was booked for February 15th. There was no suggestion that they would be serving anything other than their normal menu.
