Let me please start by saying that I am happy that I was able to finally find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I did have a few things that I wish were perfected, but this is just me. I ordered the Vietnamese Fried Rice, it was delicious but for the portion given, I received 3 shrimp and a shrimp tail. The shrimp was cooked beautifully so the lack of shrimp was a bit of a bummer. I also ordered the Lemongrass stir fry with pork and beef. Again it was good for what it was...although it was missing the lemongrass. So it tasted like any other stir fry. Lastly, the Boba tea. Viet Taste Restaurant Owners, if you're reading this, please add "vegetable broth & chicken broth" to your menu. My husband & I went to this place for the first time since our usual pho place was closed today. When we entered, it was small & quiet, but we were seated quickly. We ordered matcha green tea & mango boba tea -- both very delicious & one of the best boba that compares to kunfu tea! (unfortunately, there aren't any locations in the state I live in) as well as the spring rolls; we got tofu & vegetables spring roll & chicken spring roll --again, fresh & delicious. However, I'm vegetarian so I asked the waiter if they could substitute the beef broth for veggie broth, he just said "no vegetable broth, just beef" and my husband likes his pho with chicken broth & they didn't have that either, so he settled with beef. Unfortunately, I ended up ordering stir-fry rice noodles with tofu & veggies --smelled & tasted great! But I wished I had vegetable broth pho.
