To me, the most important aspect of pho is the broth, and this restaurant has one of the deepest and richest broths I've ever tasted. It touched my soul in a way that only a few other phos have accomplished. But after sipping this broth, I was just as blown away by the crispy & hot egg roll. The restaurant is run by a very sweet but also stern & no nonsense Vietnamese auntie. Located in the Aldi/ CVS lot  across from LA Fitness I stumbled into this little no thrills but GREAT Vietnamese eatery. I've been working over at the Santa Anita Fair so I was in the area and happened to be driving by a noticed the Vietnam Kitchen. I absolutely love a good bowl of Pho and it's been quite a while since I had one sooooo in spite of the warm temperatures I decided to get myself a steaming hot bowl of it. I went with the #12b which consists of Rare beef flank and Tripe , I added meatballs and tendon. A few mins later Ammie put it right in front of me. My server,Aimee , was excellent and informative even suggesting other dishes to try next time. Now, for me you can tell how the Pho will go by sipping the broth 1st before you add any , green pepper, basil , lime , bean sprouts, Sriracha or Hoison. It was quite tasty  and well balanced in flavor with an aromatic but hearty aroma. Just a bit of grease from the tendon but just a little to add dynamite flavor. I added all my fore-mentioned extras and dug into an absolute stellar bowl of Pho. I really enjoyed this spot and will definitely be returning.
