Village Grill in Abbeville

Very good food and attentive service. We will definitely be back!

2 hamburgers. Wife said hers was great. Mine was the Hickory Burger which was fantastic. Service was friendly and quick.

Food is always fresh and delicious!

Only went in for a brief stay . End up having dessert. Atmosphere was great.

You have to make a reservation, no walking in at all.

We were 10 minutes late for our 6pm reservation (30 mile drive). As soon as we walked in we were scolded by staff/owner? For being late. Also told we only had 70 minutes of our 90 minute seating remaining. Felt this was terrible customer service and would have left except there was no where else open. When seated we could see several open tables/booths that would have accommodated us. We were 1st time customers and will not return due to poor customer service.

Called 4TIMES to try to make reservations. No one answered the phone. Drove 40 minutes WENT IN AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE over an hour wait since we didn't have reservations. (There was only 2 of us).

I drove an hour to eat dinner on a Wednesday night. I attempted to make online reservations only to find that the restaurant did not accept online google reservations or online reservations at all. I called the restaurant phone number multiple times only to receive a busy signal over and over. After arriving at the restaurant and noting the multiple empty tables, I was eager and excited. The hostess quickly dampened those feelings saying that there were no tables available for another hour and a half. I even asked if we could sit at the bar, and she said there were only 2 chairs at their full bar area. There were 4 empty tables visible from the hostess stand. If you aren't going to answer your phone and if you aren't willing to make online reservations available, and you are still taking the social distancing to the extreme while not one employee is wearing a mask, that's ridiculous. Business lost.

There is a reason why Village Grille is one of the few businesses that has excelled and lasted in our little town square.....EVERYTHING is phenominal from food quality to service to atmosphere. We love this place and would highly recommend it to everyone and anyone%.

Really great food and the servers are so friendly! We came right when it opened on a Thursday and it was already filled but they were able to fit us in. They recommended the fried shrimp and it was fantastic! The ambiance is also really nice inside, you wouldn't know how impressive it is from looking at the outside. Will be back!

You need to reserve a table here EVEN if the place is half empty.  Was recommended to us but because you have to reserve EVEN if the place is half empty we are unlikely to go there. Lots of other places to eat in Abbeville SC.  Go elsewhere.

Amazing place to eat at. Service is amazing, workers are hard, and their food is such good quality. The prices are high, but it's expected. Perfect for casual dinners or birthday dinners.

A hidden gem. This is an excellent place to eat even though it is well out-of-the-way in the small town of Abbeville, SC. Our meals were great, well prepared and not rushed. If I had any complaint at all it would be that the sautéed mushrooms seemed to be canned. I would certainly recommend the Village Grill to anyone and everyone.

This place was great! In town for the night for work and was looking for a relaxed place for a casual dinner! The reviews were great so I give it a shot! The hostess’s and server made me feel at home right away and the taco special was awesome! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had takeout from here and it was outstanding, really lives up to the reviews. The french dip was out of this world, the best one I've ever had, and my wife loved the squash casserole. The burger and the fries were also great. We're already talking about what we'd order next time we're in Abbeville.

The food is consistently fresh and delicious.  They owners stop by the tables  chatting with the dinners being very gracious and helpful.  The owners perhaps live in Abbieville as they are very knowledgeable about the area.  We frequently have lunch in Abbieville and the Village Grill is our favorite.

Excellent ribs and sides, prompt and friendly service all surrounded by a beautiful downtown area, teeming with history. Definitely recommend, but get a full slab of ribs. They are too good to stop with a half!

Do I love their food? Yes. Do I love their waitresses? Absolutely! However, the reservation thing is ridiculous. We walked in at 5:28. Doors open at 5:30. Every single table in the restaurant was OPEN. Was told, “Sorry. If you don’t have reservations, we can’t seat you until 7:00.” It was just the TWO of us- on a THURSDAY- at 5:30.

If you have never tried the Villiage Grill in Abbeville you're missing out. Best burger in town. The quality of the produce and burger are outstanding. Great staff and service.

The rotisserie chicken came highly recommend and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely include the Village Grill in your Abbeville itinerary!

Forreal my favorite restaurant all time. I love this place to death. It has a nice vibe but also local vibe. I can eat anything on the menu. Try the ribs and then cashew butter pie for dessert

The food is always delicious!!

We had a great meal here Saturday evening. We were seated and served immediately. The interior is beautiful and fun to look around. The service was great and we received our drinks quickly. The food was wonderful and you could tell that it is fresh! I would recommend this restaurant and will be back next time we are visiting.

The burgers are the best !!! Bacon brie cheese burger was delicious, fries were fresh and yummy. The cheeseburger was definitely a winner in my daughters book, very cheesy, and she ate 1/2 of it. The vegetable of the day was a delicious combo. We are so happy to have driven out of our town to sit and enjoy a meal with awesome customer service !! The staff was so helpful, kind, patient, warming... we will definitely be back !!! Thank you for the wonderful experience !!!!!

We had soup and salad on Wednesday and the soup was the best vegetable type soup ever. The house salad that went with it was excellent as it was more like a mini chef salad. Very enjoyable afternoon.

The lentil soup I had today with sausage and kale was so delicious and best rolls I’ve ever had

So delicious!! Service and food was awesome as usual. It was very clean and servers wore masks. Able to make reservations so no wait for the most delicious food around!

The Village Grill is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants! We drive from Simpsonville just to eat there. The food is always delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is amazing!

Love love love Village Grill! We had reservations tonight and the measures being taken right now made us feel comfortable taking my parents out. Never have a bad experience here and love all the staff. And the food is amazing!!

Delicious food. Great service. The BEST ranch dressing I have ever eaten in my life!!! Can't wait to go back.
