Goremet pizza in a brick tavern atmosphere. Ordered the veggie. Thick cheese, lots of items on it, and still got it done crispy and hot. Priced satisfactory by today's standard and we will return. Craft beer available with decent selection. I'm a beer pizza conissoir and I would recommend this to the same for places I go. Hope this review helps.

I want to like this place. It has a great location and I've been there several times. I always sit outside. I've had pizza, salad, and sandwiches. The salad and sandwich options lack in both imagination and execution. The food prep is uneven, maybe like they have different chefs with different ideas on how the menu should be prepared. The service is turtle-like slow, so don't go to Village Pizza if you are in a hurry. It's fine if you get a seat outside because then you can enjoy the view and it's quite pleasant. But there seems to be no real rhyme or reason to who the servers decide to serve, and when. In one case we sat down outside and then about ten minutes later another couple sat down at the outside table next to us. The server came and took their order, and their food came... all before the very same server ever even came to take our orders. This slow and disorganized service has happened in nearly every visit I've had to VP.I want to like this place, but they do need to work on a better menu, faster prep times, and get servers that are more focused. It's been this way for the last few years, even pre-pandemic, so it's not as though this can be blamed on labor shortage or anything.Would I go back? Yes, but I go to Village Pizza knowing the pros and cons, and mostly I enjoy the location. If looking for great food and speedy service, just try Lucia's, right next door to Village Pizza. They also have great outdoor seating. Better actually... they aren't on the corner with all of the intersection traffic.
