Came in for a small sit down break. I ordered the blanc de noir, if you like sparkling rosé you'll like this, and the she crab bisque, which sadly I wouldn't recommend, very thick and lacked flavor. Place and service were nice.

Came in the early evening during the week. Small crowd. Ordered a Blue Crab Cake appetizer. Excellent accompanying sauce. The Penne Primavera with shrimp was the best I've ever tasted.

I do not usually leave reviews if I am unimpressed with a restaurant, however our experience at the village social was really not good. My husband ordered the ribeye which came with roasted broccolini and crispy heirloom potatoes. I cannot speak to the ribeye, but I tried the roasted broccolini and it was delicious. The crispy potatoes were not crispy and their only real flavor was the salt that was on the outside of them. The server never once asked how the meal was, even though she could tell I didn't like it from the little I ate. I didn't complain about the meal but in hindsight I really should have since it was not a cheap dinner. Also, if you get our server and order wine, be prepared to open your own bottle. Our server couldn't uncork a bottle and had to get the man who ordered it (at th...
